That was really the crux of TRI's issue, imo. The alliance was entrenched in Dek and making isk hand over fist in Dek, and it wasn't an easy task to simply boot DORM out (telling a corp that had 300 members, has put up 2+ outposts in space, and controls the majority of sov holding POSes to gtfo is not easy). And DORM (read: GD) also had a pretty firm hand on shaping the alliance's direction, so I doubt that moving out of Dek would have every happened given how much power GD had (which is really a shame now that we all know the collosal jerkoff he is).
A catch-22 tbh, but it's easy to see why people think "omg it's gd/dorm's fault the alliance is disbanding". Like all things of this nature there were many factors... the gd/dorm thing was just one of the major ones.

ET, an interesting drunk post but I think ANYONE who blames dorm entirely is not looking at the whole picture. And I'm sure that 99% of OSH!T agree with me. See their posts on SHC if you don't believe me.
As for my corp, I really don't care if we've accomplished anything, which is pretty much the attitude of EVERY small gang pvp corp. We play to have fun and enjoy playing with each other (both in game and out  ).
I know where my corp stands on the great pvp-scale of eve and really couldn't care less about what other people think. If they feel the need to see how we measure up to them... well then come kill us (we're living in hophib atm). If they are just gonna sit on the forums and say they've measured us up based on a killboard stat well all i can say is...
